“True Human Rights” All This Week On Plus TV’s Rise & Shine

You’ve probably noticed the bombarding of all the Human Rights ads on TV lately.  This is because the Human Rights Commission of Belize received a hefty donation from the Oak Foundation which is financing their “human rights” ad campaign to the tune of $5000 per week!  So what’s up with all the focus on Human Rights in Belize?  They’re acting like this is Sudan, or North Korea or something!!

Truth is, if you have followed any of Hilary Clinton’s speeches, as well as Obama’s pushing of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) “human rights,” you will notice that Human Rights is the new buzz word for GAY RIGHTS!!  That’s where all this is pointing towards!!!  Simeon Sampson from the Human Rights Commission has been added to the UNIBAM legal team, and they’re trying to tackle this issue from a “human rights” angle.  After all, who would EVER disagree with “human rights” right?  One of OUR main points is that…

THEY ALREADY HAVE HUMAN RIGHTS!!  YOU KNOW WHY?
BECAUSE THEY’RE HUMANS!  NOT BECAUSE THEY’RE HOMOSEXUALS!!
SEEKING “HUMAN RIGHTS” STATUS FOR HOMOSEXUALS IS NOT HUMAN RIGHTS!
IT’S SPECIAL RIGHTS! OR HUMAN PRIVILEGES!
TUNE IN THIS WEEK AND LEARN MORE!!!

Belize Action Update March 21st 2012

Dear Friend. Greetings from the Belize Action Team. A quick touching base on three key issues, two for us in Belize, the other related to the larger International homosexual agenda.

UNIBAM, Human Rights Commission, Church presentation
“Divergent Discussions – Constitutional Challenge, Section 53″ UB Auditorium, Belmopan Wed. Mar 28th 2 PM

This coming Wednesday is an important presentation at the UB Auditorium in Belmopan. It’s hosted by UB and it pertains to the homosexual lawsuit we are fighting. We assume the Caleb Orozco will be presenting for UNIBAM, someone from the Human Rights Commission, then Louis Wade from Plus TV representing the Church.

If you are available, we’re asking you to come for this event
in a strong show of support for Moral Values in Belize.
We’d like to pack out UB Auditorium with Concerned Citizens!!

There will be Q&A after presentations which should be really good. It’s important that we see our role as Concerned Citizens as EXTREMELY CRUCIAL in keeping a prayerful & vigilant eye on UNIBAMs actions and tactics. We continue to find terrible stories of what’s happening in the U.S. and Canada, as well as U.K. where the Church failed to successfully rise up against the homosexual agenda & advocacy. So we hope to see you there Wednesday!!!

Alberta, Canada Govt. Puts LGBT Limits
on Church Schools/Homeschooling!
“You cannot teach homosexuality as sin!!”

As stated above, in Canada the homosexuals managed to secure a Constitutional Amendment legalizing same sex marriage! So one of our OUR strategies has been to look at other countries where homosexuals have gotten increased “special rights” and you can see where this is likely going for OUR nation!! Of course UNIBAM denies this, but when you see it happening in nation after nation, it affirms this is their international strategy.

Having said that, the Alberta Canada Govt. cracked down on Church schools as well as Homeschools FORBIDDING THEM TO TEACH HOMOSEXUALITY AS SIN!! This is atrocious and an extreme overreaching of State authority! As was predicted years ago, you cannot read from Romans 1 in your Church School religion class now!! Click here for the article.

The good news is that there was a PUBLIC OUTCRY AGAINST THIS and the Alberta Govt. backed off. But the fact that they put their foot forward to dictate these areas on behalf of the homosexuals is astounding! The gays call us “fear mongerers” when we talk about this. We refer to it as FACT MONGERING!! They USED to say in Canada “that could never happen here,” and now it’s happening!! Click here to view the reaction to this…

Brief Update on Peace Corps HFLE Manual

We’ve had a number of questions concerning the Peace Corps HFLE Manual in our Belizean schools. If you’re new to Belize Action, on Dec. 3rd at our rally in Belize City, Louis Wade from Plus TV broke the news on a “Health & Family Life Education” manual from the Peace Corps that managed to get INTO OUR BELIZEAN SCHOOLS, and openly teaching acceptance (and suggestions of) homosexual acts & practices as well. That manual also has a full lesson devoted to “The Difference Between Sex & Gender” as they weave their “gender confusion” message to the kids. To make it worse, the manual is for Std. 4, 5, & 6 PRIMARY SCHOOL!!!

At the invite & leading of Plus TV, a 10 member Review Team was set up to examine the HFLE Manual and make recommendations, and Belize Action was part of that team. After thorough & careful review, our corporate recommendation was for the REMOVING OF THIS MANUAL FROM OUR SCHOOL SYSTEM! The report was submitted to the Ministry of Education, as well as the Minister of Education AND THE PRIME MINISTER.

So our quick update is this… We have a commitment IN WRITING from the Ministry of Education for a joint committee from Ministry of Education and members our Corporate Review team to go through the manual together and identify the objectionable material in it. Our hope is to replace that with a Jamaican HFLE Manual that is stronger on moral values, more culturally relevant, and hopefully to create a positive proactive HFLE Manual for here in Belize. Thanks for being part of this effort as we mobilize together for Godly values in our nation…

Update & FEEDBACK Feb 26th 2012

Francis Fonseca on Plus TV “Rise & Shine” TUESDAY morning!

Tuesday at 7:30 am on Plus TV’s Rise & Shine, the PUP’s Party Leader Hon. Francis Fonseca will be on the show.  This will be a close election, no doubt.  We all are thinking “what would another 4-5 years of a UDP or 4-5 years of a PUP Govt. look like?”  Concerning the UNIBAM homosexual lawsuit, which is the primary focus of Belize Action right now, how would a change of Govt, or a continuation of Govt look?  These are SERIOUS QUESTIONS!  You can view ONLINE STREAMING at <http://www.plustvbelize.com/> http://www.plustvbelize.com/

The HOMOSEXUAL LAWSUIT IS OF PRIMARY CONCERN to the almost 2000 Belize Action members  Questions & emails have already been coming, from BOTH PUP & UDP affiliated people, concerning the fact that Lisa Shoman, a ranking PUP official is the attorney for UNIBAM and pushing for homosexual rights in Belize.  We’ve been getting emails & texts asking.

  1. “If the PUP comes into Govt., will Lisa Shoman become Attorney General?
  2. What would this do to the homosexual lawsuit?
  3. Even if she doesn’t become PUP Attorney General, how will this affect the lawsuit by having a PUP ranking official
  4. bringing a case against a PUP Attorney General?  Will there be collusion?
  5. Will this affect the integrity of the lawsuit?”

These are some HUGE and LEGIT concerns!

FEEDBACK – Do You Have Questions To Ask?

Folks, NOW IS THE TIME TO ASK QUESTIONS!!!  Don’t wait till after elections and say “I me ah ask dat question, but shucks.”  NOW IS THE TIME!! Not just for this Tuesday, but of BOTH parties and Independent candidates!!! NAIL THEM DOWN PUBLICLY AS TO WHERE THEY STAND ON THIS ISSUE!!!  If they hem & haw & squirm, or don’t give a firm committed answer, take note!!

The outcome of this lawsuit, and by correlation, this election, will have EFFECTS on our nation for years to come.  It’s EXTREMELY important that we GET INVOLVED!!  Rock the boat!!!  You have our permission!!  Truly, in a democracy, the only way that unrighteousness will prevail is if the GOOD PEOPLE FAIL TO ACTIVATE!!  Sake ah what?  Fear?  Complacency?  God forbid!!

EMAIL US YOUR QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE UNIBAM LAWSUIT AND WE WILL TAKE THOSE INTO THAT TIME.

OR REPLY WITH “I AGREE, ASK THOSE QUESTIONS!!” AND WE’LL TAKE IN THAT TALLY OF RESPONSES TO THE QUESTION TIME. TEXT US YOUR QUESTIONS AHEAD OF TIME AT 607-9635

We’re sure it will be a busy morning of calls, questions, answers, text messages, etc.  SO WE NEED YOUR QUESTIONS EARLY!!

PM Barrow on Plus TV Mar. 6th

And in the spirit of FAIRNESS, as well as an eager nation to examine leaders & future leaders, Prime Minister Dean Barrow will be on Rise & Shine on TUE March 6th.  And SAME APPLIES.  Get your questions ready!  We’ll send another reminder before this appearance to take questions.  Time to GET INVOLVED!!

Bellize Action Update FEB 17, Court Decision, Orozco Attacked, HFLE Manual

Still Awaiting Court Decision

We’re still awaiting a decision from Justice Arana as Attorneys for our side objected to several “Expert Witnesses” for UNIBAM, seeing that they don’t meet requirements for “Expert Witness.” Also, a motion was introduced that may strike out UNIBAM as a Claimant in the case. UNIBAM, as a Corporation/Organization is claiming that personal individual Constitutional rights are being violated (namely, the right for men to have sex with men), but since Corporations cannot have sex, they cannot claim violation of personal individual rights. Justice Arana’s decision will also coincide the announcement of the NEW TRIAL DATE for the case. We’ll keep you posted.

Response to Orozco Blaming the Church For His Attack

As we’re sure you heard this last week, Caleb Orozco from UNIBAM unfortunately had two teeth broken out by someone on George St. throwing a pint bottle at as an act of hate. He stated publicly that he “blames the Church” for what happened, as we’re “stirring hate” on this issue. To repeat our position, this was a TERRIBLE & DEPLORABLE act of violence & hate which we ABSOLUTELY CONDEMN!! To add insult to injury, the pint thrower slipped away on bike and no one is detained, as so many of the “shooters” & “thieves” do. ANY act of violence for ANY reason (apart from self defense or protecting our wonderful children) is absolutely wrong, selfish, hurtful, & criminal. It’s sick & it’s sad, and we are relieved and grateful that it wasn’t WORSE – it could have easily been worse!

For anyone to imply or infer that anyone opposed to UNIBAM or the LGBT agenda in Belize is overjoyed, much less responsible for that act, is simply unfair, false, spin, and PREJUDICE. We have much compassion for individuals in the homosexual lifestyle and do all we can to help them come out, but Belize Action’s position on the UNIBAM sodomy lawsuit remains the same, based upon principle, values, and societal concerns. SECTION 53 DOES NOT VIOLATE HUMAN DIGNITY, AS OROZCO & UNIBAM CLAIM. IT PROTECTS HUMAN DIGNITY, AS S.53 IS THE PRIMARY LAW USED IN MANY, MANY DEPLORABLE SEXUAL ABUSE CASES, ESPECIALLY AGAINST CHILDREN, AND HAS NEVER ONCE BEEN USED TO PROSECUTE ANY CONSENSUAL ACT.

UNIBAM & Orozco had the opportunity to suggest amending Section 53 to forbid abusive acts but allow for consensual acts (the primary basis of their claim), BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE REQUESTING IN THIS LAWSUIT!!! They are seeking a “blanket removal” of that law applying to interpersonal relations. This was either a terrible strategic legal error, OR is because of the SUBSEQUENT LGBT AGENDA to follow. In our deepest concern for our nation, our children, & generations to come, we believe UNIBAM’s intent is the latter… Thus, we stand firm in simply saying LEAVE SECTION 53 AS IS. IT’S A GOOD LAW. IT PROTECTS HUMAN DIGNITY, NOT VIOLATES IT.

Prayer For Orozco

This last week there was a RUMOUR circulating that Caleb Orozco was killed in car accident in Orange Walk. Several of us, out of deep concern for Orozco, stayed up late trying to confirm this report and were relieved to find it as only a rumour. We are concerned for Caleb Orozco’s SOUL. The next morning in prayer, a number of people felt a “prayer alert” to cover Orozco. Then the pint bottle incident happened.

Some people can be quick to chime in with “you see weh catch you?” and start in on critical, judgmental opinions, unknowingly coming into agreement with the devil’s plans to “steal, kill, & destroy.” That is NOT God’s heart at all. We’re urging believers everywhere to please PRAY for Caleb Orozco, that God’s grace & loving conviction would surround him, and that God would “love him into the Kingdom!” Amen? Remember what YOU were like before God opened YOUR eyes!!

Peace Corps HFLE Manual In Belize Schools & Report

A team of 10 professionals, at the invitation of Plus TV, has finished their review of the Peace Corps Health & Family Life Education manual and submitted their report to the Prime Minister & Minister of Education in January. As you recall, the Peace Corps HFLE manual, designed for STD 4, 5, & 6 PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN, stirred up outrage as it refers repeatedly to homosexual acts, anal sex, same sex attractions, and a HOST of lewd sexual suggestions repeatedly in the guise of “sex education curriculum.” The manual downplays the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission by repeatedly stating “condoms substantially reduce the risk of transmission.” One “true/false” question posed was “T/F – Anal sex between two men is risky behavior and could result in contracting HIV or AIDS.” Answer: “That’s not necessarily risky behavior, but having unprotected sex IS!” Just the throwing out of these suggestions as CURRICULUM to our PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS we find deplorable!

The 10 professionals, including Masters degrees in Counseling, Education, and degrees in various other fields recommended the REMOVAL of the Peace Corps HFLE manual from our schools. They also recommended using a similar Jamaican manual, teaching the same or similar topics, but with a stronger emphasis on MORAL VALUES in a more culturally relevant Caribbean curriculum. We were impressed with the Jamaican manual as it went into greater detail of the risks of Sexually Transmitted Infections, as well as the many other adverse effects of adolescents becoming sexually active. Considering that over 80% of our schools are Church based schools, the Peace Corps HFLE manual fails miserably in moral values and the Jamaican manual was very balanced and impressive.

Education Battle – They’re After The Kids

Similar news (to help you see where this agenda is going) below is a link from Focus on the Family. Liberal sex education & gay-activism groups released their “National Sexuality Education Standards” suggesting that their guidelines are the OFFICIAL STANDARDS for the nation. They emphasize same-sex marriage, homosexual relationships, and encourage primary school children in use of the “morning-after pill.” Similar to the Peace Corps HFLE manual, the list of contributors includes Planned Parenthood® (BFLA in Belize) who are well known for their long history of promoting liberal sexuality in the classroom. [Click to view link]

In equally SHOCKING news, the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Organization) is fighting to FORCE SCHOOLS TO REMOVE PORN FILTERS from their systems!!! The ACLU says the porn filters block LGBT sites as well, so they’ve filed a lawsuit!! The link is from ADF, Alliance Defense Fund, which is actually part of OUR legal team in Belize. Both these articles help everyone to see the clear agenda, that they’re AFTER THE KIDS!!! Additional link: Gay columnist admits “We’re out to indoctrinate children!!”

Preliminary Hearing Readout, Jan. 30th,2012

Greetings from the Belize Action Team! Today was the PRELIMINARY HEARING for the UNIBAM sodomy lawsuit, so it was a big day… Cram packed in a tiny Supreme Court room with very stiff benches!! Both UNIBAM and Church supporters, as well as reporters, filled the small room, and a host of attorneys!! Nigel Hawke (representing Attorney Generals office), Michel Chebat, Rodwell Williams & Jackie Marshalleck (representing the Church as an Interested Party), and Lisa Shoman & Simeon Sampson representing UNIBAM. The Preliminary Hearing was presided over by Justice Michelle Arana.

OUR DEEPEST THANKS TO THE PRAYER WARRIORS WHO CAME OUT IN FORCE TODAY!! MANY, MANY PEOPLE ALL ACROSS BELIZE WERE FASTING & PRAYING TODAY FOR THIS CASE!!

We want to thank you for your sacrifice, perseverance, and faith!! There’s no doubt that this is a spiritual battle, so we place a PRIMARY EMPHASIS on spiritual covering of prayer! The Battle Is The Lord’s! Our job is to stay close to Him and hear His voice as we partner with Him!

As far as the case today, it was standard Preliminary Hearing procedures of filings, applications, and objections to various points. The electricity went out about 11:30, resulting in a recess till 2 pm. Here’s a brief readout of the day…

Attempt to remove Judge!

The Hearing began with a tactic to remove Justice Arana as Judge on this hearing, allegedly due to her affiliation as a Catholic, and the fact that the Catholic Bishop was present. Although Bishop Wright was humbly willing to remove himself, attorneys for the Church dismissed this as simply a maneuver, seeing that the Catholic Bishop himself is part of the Interested Party for the Church in the case! The issue was settled in the privacy of Justice Arana’s office, out came the attorneys & the Justice, and the Hearing began.

Objections to Witnesses by BOTH SIDES

Both sets of attorneys, as in normal procedures, objected to various expert witnesses, on either procedural grounds or the fact that they were not experts. Many other legal cases were drawn upon as precedence for the various viewpoints & reasoning for objecting to witnesses, which was the most tedious part of the day, enduring facts of legal cases from Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, and wherever else, but all pertinent in the legal positioning of preparations for this case. A number of UNIBAM witnesses were requested to be removed as they did not meet criteria as “expert witnesses.” Justice Arana will need to make these decisions…

UNIBAM in Question as Official Complainant

Probably the highlight of the day came concerning an issue of UNIBAM’s LEGAL STANDING or “locus standi” (the ability of a legal party to prove to the court sufficient connection to & harm from the law challenged to support that party’s participation in the case). The main point being, UNIBAM is an organization, a corporation, that is claiming certain Constitutional rights are being violated in relation to MSM (men having sex with men). Problem is, the rights they claim that are violated are INDIVIDUAL rights, but the lawsuit claimant is a CORPORATION, and corporations cannot have sex! This could potentially mean that UNIBAM could be removed as a claimant, however the case will continue forward as Caleb Orozco’s name is listed as a claimant as well.

Waiting for Decision & New Court Date

Please continue praying for this case as we await Justice Arana’s decisions on the objections & decisions of this Preliminary Hearing. Also continue praying for the attorneys for the Church & Attorney General, for wisdom beyond measure. We have NO IDEA ABOUT THE COURT DATE and when that decision will come, so we wait… And pray… And continue mobilizing forward!!

We’re grateful for your partnership! Together we can do this! As we have stepped into phase one of the case, we need to ramp up our fund raising for this case as well. Please prayerfully get involved financially with this effort as well.  If 2500 homes, families, churches, businesses, do $100 each, We can easily & effectively pull this off together. We’re alive in this time together, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!!!

VIP releases its position on the UNIBAM Homosexual Agenda and Section 53

Today Vision Inspired by the People released its Position on the Caleb Orosco and UNIBAM versus the Attorney General of Belize regarding Constitutional challenge of Section 53 of the Criminal Code of Belize. In a Media Release titled “VIP’s Position on Unnatural Crime”. We will read the statement in its entirety. It says  “ VIP stands in full support of section 53 of Belize’s Criminal Code.  VIP’s support for this provision is expressly to uphold, protect and preserve the general order of nature which includes the unhindered continuance of natural human procreation.  VIP takes this necessary stance because natural human procreation serves as the bedrock of Belize’s traditional family unit. This reasoned stance is enshrined in the Direction and Constitution of the VIP and is in keeping with VIP’s promotion of Family Life Environment as one of the 5 critical pillars of National Development for Belize.”  The People’s United Party, COLA, The Belize Council of Churches, The Belize Evangelical Association and the Belize Christian Media Fellowship have all made public their stand in support of keeping the Law on the Books. PUP releases its official position on UNIBAM’s court case

The Peoples United Party said to day in an official media release that it will NOT support the Constitutional Challenge against Section 53 of the Criminal Code. The release says, and we QUOTE, “The People’s United Party does not support the efforts of the Human Dignity Trust and UNIBAM to strike down or amend S.53 of the Criminal Code of Belize. We recognize and appreciate the cultural, moral, spiritual and human dignity considerations attached to this issue and call on all sides in this debate to be guided by the principles of respect and tolerance.”  PlusNews considers this to be a major development in the court of public opinion even as the actual court date draws nearer. PlusNews caught up with Caleb Orosco outside of the Supreme Court on Friday.  He is the founder and leader of UNIBAM, the organization that has brought the Constitutional Challenge against the Attorney General of Belize. Orosco gave his own perspective on what the case is all about. Read full article from PlusTV
