Still Awaiting Court Decision
We’re still awaiting a decision from Justice Arana as Attorneys for our side objected to several “Expert Witnesses” for UNIBAM, seeing that they don’t meet requirements for “Expert Witness.” Also, a motion was introduced that may strike out UNIBAM as a Claimant in the case. UNIBAM, as a Corporation/Organization is claiming that personal individual Constitutional rights are being violated (namely, the right for men to have sex with men), but since Corporations cannot have sex, they cannot claim violation of personal individual rights. Justice Arana’s decision will also coincide the announcement of the NEW TRIAL DATE for the case. We’ll keep you posted.

Response to Orozco Blaming the Church For His Attack
As we’re sure you heard this last week, Caleb Orozco from UNIBAM unfortunately had two teeth broken out by someone on George St. throwing a pint bottle at as an act of hate. He stated publicly that he “blames the Church” for what happened, as we’re “stirring hate” on this issue. To repeat our position, this was a TERRIBLE & DEPLORABLE act of violence & hate which we ABSOLUTELY CONDEMN!! To add insult to injury, the pint thrower slipped away on bike and no one is detained, as so many of the “shooters” & “thieves” do. ANY act of violence for ANY reason (apart from self defense or protecting our wonderful children) is absolutely wrong, selfish, hurtful, & criminal. It’s sick & it’s sad, and we are relieved and grateful that it wasn’t WORSE – it could have easily been worse!
For anyone to imply or infer that anyone opposed to UNIBAM or the LGBT agenda in Belize is overjoyed, much less responsible for that act, is simply unfair, false, spin, and PREJUDICE. We have much compassion for individuals in the homosexual lifestyle and do all we can to help them come out, but Belize Action’s position on the UNIBAM sodomy lawsuit remains the same, based upon principle, values, and societal concerns. SECTION 53 DOES NOT VIOLATE HUMAN DIGNITY, AS OROZCO & UNIBAM CLAIM. IT PROTECTS HUMAN DIGNITY, AS S.53 IS THE PRIMARY LAW USED IN MANY, MANY DEPLORABLE SEXUAL ABUSE CASES, ESPECIALLY AGAINST CHILDREN, AND HAS NEVER ONCE BEEN USED TO PROSECUTE ANY CONSENSUAL ACT.
UNIBAM & Orozco had the opportunity to suggest amending Section 53 to forbid abusive acts but allow for consensual acts (the primary basis of their claim), BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE REQUESTING IN THIS LAWSUIT!!! They are seeking a “blanket removal” of that law applying to interpersonal relations. This was either a terrible strategic legal error, OR is because of the SUBSEQUENT LGBT AGENDA to follow. In our deepest concern for our nation, our children, & generations to come, we believe UNIBAM’s intent is the latter… Thus, we stand firm in simply saying LEAVE SECTION 53 AS IS. IT’S A GOOD LAW. IT PROTECTS HUMAN DIGNITY, NOT VIOLATES IT.

Prayer For Orozco
This last week there was a RUMOUR circulating that Caleb Orozco was killed in car accident in Orange Walk. Several of us, out of deep concern for Orozco, stayed up late trying to confirm this report and were relieved to find it as only a rumour. We are concerned for Caleb Orozco’s SOUL. The next morning in prayer, a number of people felt a “prayer alert” to cover Orozco. Then the pint bottle incident happened.
Some people can be quick to chime in with “you see weh catch you?” and start in on critical, judgmental opinions, unknowingly coming into agreement with the devil’s plans to “steal, kill, & destroy.” That is NOT God’s heart at all. We’re urging believers everywhere to please PRAY for Caleb Orozco, that God’s grace & loving conviction would surround him, and that God would “love him into the Kingdom!” Amen? Remember what YOU were like before God opened YOUR eyes!!

Peace Corps HFLE Manual In Belize Schools & Report
A team of 10 professionals, at the invitation of Plus TV, has finished their review of the Peace Corps Health & Family Life Education manual and submitted their report to the Prime Minister & Minister of Education in January. As you recall, the Peace Corps HFLE manual, designed for STD 4, 5, & 6 PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN, stirred up outrage as it refers repeatedly to homosexual acts, anal sex, same sex attractions, and a HOST of lewd sexual suggestions repeatedly in the guise of “sex education curriculum.” The manual downplays the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission by repeatedly stating “condoms substantially reduce the risk of transmission.” One “true/false” question posed was “T/F – Anal sex between two men is risky behavior and could result in contracting HIV or AIDS.” Answer: “That’s not necessarily risky behavior, but having unprotected sex IS!” Just the throwing out of these suggestions as CURRICULUM to our PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS we find deplorable!
The 10 professionals, including Masters degrees in Counseling, Education, and degrees in various other fields recommended the REMOVAL of the Peace Corps HFLE manual from our schools. They also recommended using a similar Jamaican manual, teaching the same or similar topics, but with a stronger emphasis on MORAL VALUES in a more culturally relevant Caribbean curriculum. We were impressed with the Jamaican manual as it went into greater detail of the risks of Sexually Transmitted Infections, as well as the many other adverse effects of adolescents becoming sexually active. Considering that over 80% of our schools are Church based schools, the Peace Corps HFLE manual fails miserably in moral values and the Jamaican manual was very balanced and impressive.

Education Battle – They’re After The Kids
Similar news (to help you see where this agenda is going) below is a link from Focus on the Family. Liberal sex education & gay-activism groups released their “National Sexuality Education Standards” suggesting that their guidelines are the OFFICIAL STANDARDS for the nation. They emphasize same-sex marriage, homosexual relationships, and encourage primary school children in use of the “morning-after pill.” Similar to the Peace Corps HFLE manual, the list of contributors includes Planned Parenthood® (BFLA in Belize) who are well known for their long history of promoting liberal sexuality in the classroom. [Click to view link]
In equally SHOCKING news, the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Organization) is fighting to FORCE SCHOOLS TO REMOVE PORN FILTERS from their systems!!! The ACLU says the porn filters block LGBT sites as well, so they’ve filed a lawsuit!! The link is from ADF, Alliance Defense Fund, which is actually part of OUR legal team in Belize. Both these articles help everyone to see the clear agenda, that they’re AFTER THE KIDS!!! Additional link: Gay columnist admits “We’re out to indoctrinate children!!”
